Mark your calendar!  Saturday evening, May 21, 2011, 6-9 PM, at the Gardiner American Legion.

This will be the 2nd annual benefit event to fund the Brian Mason Memorial Scholarship Fund.  This year we have White Mountain Bluegrass as our headliner along with 2009 and 2010 Maine Bluegrass Band of the Year  - Wilf Clark and the Misty Mountaineers.  Also, Les Morse, Kip Hemingway and friends and Steve Adams and Jim Carey of the Old Country Farts, along with Tyler Poirier.  We expect a great turnout for this event as we are featuring some of the best of the best in East Coast bluegrass music.  It is sure to be a fun-filled night of great music and food.  A special thanks to all of the bands involved and all the others that expressed interest in being part of this event.  As with Brian's Celebration of Life, everyone wants to be part of this bluegrass legend's event.

Be ready to have a great time!  Doors open at 5pm with music playing from 6-9pm.  Burgers, dogs, sweets and miscellaneous other items will be available for those interested and the cash bar will be open. There will also be a 50/50 raffle with proceeds going to the scholarship fund.   This year, many area businesses have donated to this great cause.  Admission is as follows:

Copies of the Brian Mason Memorial DVD will be on sale at the event as well.  Last year's release of The Memorial DVD was a huge hit and resulted in us selling out.  We have ordered more for this benefit.  The price is $20 and includes over an hour of video of Brian both on-stage and field-picking.  Brian's other three CD's will also be available at this event.  SEE YA THERE!!!
